Corporate and Commercial Law
Edel trained and qualified as a solicitor with a leading international law firm in London in 2002. She qualified as a solicitor in Ireland in 2003 with a leading law firm in Dublin. Edel is a partner in the Commercial Department.
She advises on a broad range of corporate finance transactions, including public and private M&A, joint ventures and equity capital markets. Edel also advises on establishing and reorganising companies and businesses, public and private securities issues, commercial agreements and associated regulatory issues. She has acted for companies across many industry sectors including technology, healthcare, financial services, food and beverage, energy and natural resources and retail. Edel is a graduate of Harvard Law School.
Recent work highlights include acting for Packaging Holdings on their recent merger with Grafham Holdings Limited, advising on the sale by certain shareholders of their interests in Towercom Limited as part of the acquisition by the John Laing Group and advising on the sale of Tuffy Wholesale Limited to BWG Foods UC.
