Michael Walshe and Lorna Morris attended the 20th Annual Conference of our client Credit Union Development Association at the INEC Centre in Killarney on Saturday, 28 January. This year’s theme was “Sustainability – Rising to the Challenge” and its relevance to the credit union sector and its members. Thought provoking presentations were given by Mark Meyer of Filene Research Institute and Laura Heuston of Sustainability Works as well as panel discussions with the chairs and CEOs of leading credit unions. Minister of State in the Department of Finance with responsibility for Financial Services, Jennifer Carroll MacNeill’s contribution on the status of the Credit Union Amendment Bill was also well received.
